Our Health and Wellness planning group has been very busy this summer organizing and moving forward with our mission to improve the quality of life for all citizens of Duluth. In September we will be hosting five community events! We hope you will be able to join us at one of the theatre performances and also at one of the “World Cafe” community events. My Zip Code is Killin’ Me
”My Zip Code is Killin’ Me!” is an interactive theatre experience that explores the intersection of health and race issues facing our community. Join us for an evening of empowerment as we move from talk to action in the struggle to end health disparities and guild a strong community. Note: this performance encourages audience participation. An original theatrical production written by troupe members and directed by Simona Simkins.

Dessert and Dialogue
“Dessert and Dialogue,” to build relationships and to be a community working together to reduce barriers to health and wellness. Using the World Café model, participants will develop action steps which will become a strategic plan for becoming a community in which everyone has an equal chance to live full and rewarding lives.
