An Independent Study Packet exploring the relationship between Consecutive and Simultaneous Interpreting

This site is designed to accompany the new DVD, "Shifting Gears," which features ASL texts created by Debbie Peterson, Roger Brown, and Trudy Suggs. These texts are both in full speed and 80 % speed, and can be viewed in sections that encompass main ideas. This variety of formats allows for honing the skills required to recognize when Consecutive and Simultaneous formats are most effective, and how to move along the continuum between CI and SI.

Unfortunately, as an individual who is involved in many projects and community organizations, I have not yet carved out the time to finish this study packet. If you are waiting for this packet to be produced, I would appreciate you contacting me to let me know. It will give me some inspiration to move this up on my list of things to do. Thanks.
